Dallas, Texas  January 12, 2024 – With the impending cold weather and storms set to hit the Dallas Metroplex, UGM Dallas extends a heartfelt invitation to individuals facing hazardous living conditions. Our shelter has extra room to accommodate those seeking refuge from the cold.

UGM Dallas shelters over 400 individuals daily and has made extra room to offer a safe haven for those in need. In addition to offering 24/7 shelter, UGM Dallas offers 3 full meals a day, showers and laundry facilities during this difficult time.

Our “Search and Rescue” teams have hit the streets to encourage the homeless to come in prior to the storm hitting. The UGM Dallas bus and UGM Dallas van, donated by the Mavericks foundation, will also help transport individuals to inclement weather shelters in the city.
