Dallas, Texas – September 6, 2023 – UGM Dallas is gearing up for an impactful fall season filled with events designed to shed light on the critical issue of homelessness while raising funds to support their mission. CEO Bruce Butler proudly announced the lineup of events, including the 6th Annual William M. Thompson Memorial Golf Classic, a Pastor’s Appreciation Conference, and participation in North Texas Giving Day.

On September 11th, UGM Dallas will host the 6th Annual William M. Thompson Memorial Golf Classic at the picturesque Hackberry Creek Country Club. This event serves as a heartfelt remembrance of the previous CEO, William M. Thompson, who dedicated his life to the mission of UGM Dallas. The golf classic not only honors his legacy but also provides an opportunity for supporters to make a tangible impact on the lives of the homeless population in Dallas.

Bruce Butler, CEO of UGM Dallas, emphasized the significance of this event, stating, “The William M. The following day, September 12th, UGM Dallas will participate in a Pastor’s Appreciation Conference, fostering collaboration with local faith leaders who play a crucial role in addressing homelessness within the community. By building strong partnerships with churches and faith-based organizations, UGM Dallas aims to extend its reach and support to those in need.

On September 21st, UGM Dallas will join the North Texas Giving Day, a regional day of giving that encourages individuals to donate to their favorite nonprofits. Every dollar donated on North Texas Giving Day will go directly towards UGM Dallas’s efforts to provide shelter, food, and life-changing programs for homeless individuals.
