Food, Clothing, Furniture & More

The Mission always needs donations of nourishing food, new or gently used clothes (especially undergarments), shoes, children’s toys, large print Bibles, toiletries, towels, twin-size sheets and blankets, and computers.

We encourage individuals, businesses, churches, or organizations desiring to hold a drive for items listed below,  to please fill out the form to the right. 

  • Nourishing food
  • Clothing
  • New socks and underwear (men, women, children), all sizes.
  • New/gently used bras (especially plus sizes).
  • Shoes
  • Toys
  • Large Print Bibles
  • Toiletries
  • Towels
  • Twin-size sheets and blankets
  • Computers

UGM Dallas Donation Acceptance Policy

We greatly appreciate the gift-in-kind items given to us by our donors throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.  Although we are reclaiming more and more commodities as time goes on, items we cannot accept are the following:

  • Items that may cause harm to individuals
  • Items that may cause harm to the environment

Such items have traditionally included, but are not limited to:

  • Non-working appliances, electronics and equipment

Items we cannot accept:

  • Tube style television sets (console & table top)
  • Stained/torn mattresses, damaged coil and box springs
  • Paints, lacquers, thinners
  • Gas/oil-based products
  • Baby cribs/car seats
  • Damaged furniture

Donation drivers, thrift store personnel, and shelter-warehouse staff have the right to reject any donated item if it does not meet our Mission standards.
